Thread: mass air sensors

    well i was on my way to nelsons when i discovered a problem. no top end. got to checking and found my mass air sensor only going to 14.4. it should go to at least 28 to 42. well we put in a granatelli. it does affect timing and fuel. and i believe it is himndering me greatly.going to put on another Z06 mass air and retune. just thought oi would share that with everyone

    So you like the Z06 mas over granatelli? How much did it affect your truck?

    i acn tell you that the Z06 i had went to 36 to 34 max. the granatelli goes to 29 max.so i am experienceing good things with it

    So which one do you prefer? How did your stock one compare?

    i had that one sitting in storage for a while and still hadn't used it, does that tell you anything, hahah,
    i'm still running the stock one. i think it's like a 50% chance that is will work out for you.

    well the granatelli flowed at 29.98.
    the factory went to 28.9 to 29.89.
    my Z06 goes to 33.7 to 34.8.
    now that is what i am talking about. ltrims -3.47 to -5.47 cruising and 0.00 at wot.
    timing is at 30.4 when at wot and shifting. now she is up and running good.

    I put a granatelli on my old camaro-the car never ran good after that. I won't ever buy an aftermarket maf. I think they are a waste of money. All I've ever heard about with them is that they cause problems.
