Hi all,
700R-4 for sale. With converter, dip stick and kick down wire. I have the speedo wire too.

It came out of a 1987 2wd R10 truck I just bought, but I don't know if it is the original transmission. According to receipts I found, it was removed and serviced for $420 in 2003, and the truck has not been driven since.

There are some numbers on the side of the the tranny:
8663549 and a bigger number 6
It has a MD8 code stamped towards the front passenger side.

Edit: New price $60/OBO >> SOLD <<<

Local pickup only (Austin, Texas), so no shipping.

Thanks,
99WS6Formula

Thanks kinjo, for the positive reply

I'm just trying to move this thing out of my garage. Surely someone rebuilds these things.

I would take it but am not going to drive to Austin to get it. I can get a core transmission here for $100. and not have to spend a fortune on gas. Good luck on the sale. Sounds like a reasonable price for a core.
