I started on the motor swap late this week, and here's what I found...

    #5 & 7 gone

and so is about a pint of blood :lol2:

6 stitches later... I took today off and got a pair of gloves, so I can start wrenching on it again tomorrow. I should have it running by wednesday.

The motor swap on my 91 was MUCH easier. It's going to take 3 guys to hold all of the wires out of the way when we drop the new motor in there.

You dont need any help, hang the main harness over the driverside fender and the part that goes over by the ac condenser zip tie it to the wipers and you are good to go.

Super glue stings like a bitch in an open cut like that. My mom's a nurse and fixed many cuts for me with super glue but damn that stuff stings. It's definitely cheaper than an emergency room visit.

    just a little 370 with 8.8 compression.

yup... it should run pretty good for a 5800lb pig.

Trust me, I'm the LAST guy on earth to go the hospital. In fact, this was my first time ever, as a patient; and I'm 28. I even drove to have a friend, who is a nurse, take a look at it. She cleaned it and made me go to the ER. I have great insurance. I'm not worried about the bill.

Be thankful for that insurance. I have to pay for my own for me and my family and it sucks. I could afford a new Z06 if not for damn medical insurance.

Oh I am. The best part is that I only pay $28/month for medical and dental.

Damn. That's gotta hurt, but you need to have it. One of my good friends got an offer at another firm across town, and they told him that it'd cost 340/month for insurance on his family of four, and they're all in good health. I couldn't believe it.

I wish. 340 a month. I would not know what to think.
