Is this a rare truck???

I am looking at getting a Reg Cab short bed.

I found a 01' Silverado that is sunset orange metallic and has a 5.3 V8 and is a fleetside bed. I have looked and looked but I cannot find another one like this to save my life? Does anyone have to build numbers on a truck like this? I have seen a few 4x4 ext cab but never a reg cab 5.3 and its only 20miles from my house. The only thing is their asking around 10K for it and it has 100K miles and the engine is really dirty you can tell whoever had it before didnt take care of it.

I would love to know the build numbers on this truck? The engine is very greasey & the power steering res. looks as if it is leaking. I dont know does anyone know if the grease build up is common. When I wiped my finger across the valve covers and the power steering res I get a thick black grease on my finger?? Even though its rare should I go ahead with it? I love this color more than anything and I want a reg cab truck.

Nothing a little elbow grease wont fix. I have seen many trucks with goo buildup on the engine in various places its just due to lack of maintenance.

Simple green and a water hose will fix the grease buildup. Don't use high pressure unless you plan on changing the fluids immediately afterwards.

Mine is also pretty rare. It is a GM factory Orange.

I have had since it was brand new in April 2002 and have not seen another truck the same color!
