I found the car that i want and it is a Pontiac Solstice. I test drove a turbo version and i loved it. It hauls ass and brakes great. Has an intercooler. suspension is awesome.

I am going to the bank tomorrow to talk about my loan options. Also i may be parting out my truck and bringing it back to stock. This car is really the only way i see myself getting to the speed that i want.

I like the Saturn sky version better but can't remember if it has the turbo option. Good choice either way.

Get the stage 2 kit for the car and you can have some serious fun. I was going to buy one myself but opted for the 4dr CC C1500 for the family instead.

Awww dude... No way. You serious? IMHO, that would be a baaaaad move. I have followed that thing from the days of concept...and it just the typical low budgeted GM 2 door with a buzzy 4-cylinder, poor fit-and-finish, and sketchy NVH.

But on the plus side, it looks good inside and out, has cool gadgetry, neat driver info system, and this cool thing with the oil filter. It is suprisingly zippy, handles really well, and has a relatively smooth ride for such a short wheelbase. The 2.4L Ecotec is an ok motor, but buzzy at high RPMs. It is decent at 177 hp, but that motor was not developed to be FI. I know that GM beefed up the motor slightly to handle the turbo, but it will have some problems.

But if you do go ahead and do that, I've got dibs on your Hellwig sway bars...
