    I thought he was bluffing.

    Dale Jr. & Truex to JR Motorsports? press conference at 11am/et: Dave Moody reported on Wednesday afternoon's Sirius Speedway that Dale Earnhardt Jr. will announce tomorrow at JR Motorsports, that both he and #1-Martin Truex, Jr. will drive in the Nextel Cup Series for JR Motorsports in 2008. Hendrick Motorsports will provide engines for the team. A press conference is planned for 11:00am/et at JR Motorsports headquarters per a PR from the team and SPEED will interrupt regularly scheduled programming to go LIVE from the JR Motorsports race shop at 11:00am/et for a news conference with NASCAR Nextel Cup Series driver Dale Earnhardt Jr.(5-9-2007)

    He has to leave the 8 dei car to get out of the contract. So what number will he be in? I say childress will give him the 3 and will he keep the red bud or will it be BLACK # 3

    JR made it official, he&#39;s leaving DEI. However he didn&#39;t confirm whether or not he&#39;s running his own car or where he is going... Here&#39;s hoping he goes to RCR, because there he will find his best chances for winning championships. imo
