I MAY BE WRONG, BUT I THINK THE TRUCK INTAKE GIVES YOU MORE TQ DOWN LOW, BUT DOESN'T REV AS HIGH AND THE LS1 INTAKE LOSES SOME TQ DOWN LOW BUT REVS HIGHER? I THINK THIS IS RIGHT?
I THINK THE LS1 INTAKE WILL HIT THE WP IN THE FRONT ON THE LQ4? MAY HAVE TO BE MODIFIED SLIGHTLY.

if you do that, you may as well get a FAST 90/90 combo dude!!!! or at the VERY LEAST an LS6 intake

the money and time spent on switching to a ls1 intake will not be worth it. maybe an ls6 one though after you get a cam in there.

i'd say look into putting in a cam and a converter in that 6L and watch it wake up.

yeah, the ls6 would make more sense, wonder if the ls2 would bolt on there? im just thinking 6.0 to 6.0 the ls2 may be a better fit.

The LS2 intake was designed for the 6L engine and will work better on one than a 5.7L where you actually lose power. The LS6 intake works on the 6l but strangles the intake VS the 90mm throttle body of the LS2. Do you have flybywire or cable throttle?

I THINK HOLLY MAKES ONE AND FAST DOES MAKE ONE. I WAS LOOKING AT THEM ON LINE LAST NIGHT. THEY DO MAKE THEM. I MAY GO THE GMPP INTAKE ON THE L92 HEADS A RUN AN ALUMINUM ELBOW WITH THE 90MM TB ON FRONT OF THAT.

thanks ill check it out. i wanna dress up my egine compartment a lil bit and the look of the ls1, ls2, ls6 and ls7 are badass. i love my new 3 piece engine cover tho . just wondering how hard itd be to make my engine look like an ls2 even if it doesnt perform like 1 yet.
