Well I'm already done with it now. Thanks for the help anyway.
how did it go and what did you use to do it??? i polished mine and was thinking about porting but was kinda scared.
I used a dremel with a sandpaper roll. I took off the ridge at the bottom even to the bore and blended it in all the way around. I also ground off the backside of the screws that go through the blade & shaft as well as flattening out the shaft quite a bit on the backside. I did the bumpstop mod too. I was pleasently suprised with the throttle response afterwards, I didn't think it would make a noticeable improvement but it did.
tell me more about this bumpstop you speak of

Here's a link to it. I haven't noticed any ill affects. I think it will cause problems if you go too far.

I found this after the fact and I think I'm gonna pull my TB back off & do a complete port like this. It doesn't look too hard. I just thought I would post it up in case any of you guys wanted to do it also.

Here's a link showing exactly how to measure WOT when doing the bump stop mod.

i think i might try this out only thing im iffy on is the deal with the voltage? whats that for im a little confused
The TPS uses voltage to measure how far the throttle blade is open and sends this signal to the pcm. You don't want to go past 95% open throttle(I think) or you will set an SES light, so you'll need to use a voltmeter to measure the voltage of the TPS. Like the link says you want to grind the stop until you get a reading of 4.6v and stop. Hope this helps
Man thats all useful!! thats cool i wanna do mine now but where the hell can you get that volt meter?
Home Depot or any electrical Supppy house.
IMO Fluke Digital Voltage Meter Model 110. Cheap and easy to work looking for DC. voltage very accurate. Good to have one around the house anyway can measure AC also.
Later,
Fred
Cool im gonna have to look into one of those.
Hey, I’ve been following some of these builds for a while, and it reminded me of how I sometimes need a break from tweaking cars endlessly. I stumbled upon lira spin casino while browsing a forum thread about distractions for gearheads, and what caught my attention was how straightforward the site was to navigate. I decided to try the classic slot games first, just for fun, and after a few rounds of small losses, I hit a decent payout that actually felt exciting. The whole experience made me realize it’s a nice way to unwind after hours in the garage, and I’ve been going back whenever I need a short, entertaining escape.
