Save 3k more and get to work on a turbo :)

id get my converter for my 80e and have it put in
T56 with a GTO gearset.

turbo kit fab
Finish up the 6.0 and swap it in
wait for trick turbo to roll another deal on one of those stage 1 turbo kits around and see what a boosted truck is all about

hide it somewhere in my truck where nobody else would find it and then try to get more. If you're dead set on spending it I'd do a Trutrac diff and gears. On a 4x4 that will pretty much end your spare money problem if you pay someone to do the labor.
