Ok, so I see posts that flaco has set the new stock suspension record again. What the hell is the definition of stock suspension cause his isn't. If somebody tells me stock suspension I would assume it would be stock off the dealer lot. People claim stock suspension with caltracs, longbars, lowered shackles, lowered hangers, clamped leaf springs, different shock location, etc... Somebody please explain this. Cause if not it should be "Leaf spring record", not stock suspension....
my truck is stock suspension.... Stock with a tune..... :naughty:.....
To me it's dealer lot stock. Would floating leafs and ladder bars be "stock" cuz it still leaf sprung? I don't think so.

guess some ones got their panties in a bunch now..lol................same reason they do on F-bodys...and such...non ladder bar, 4 link, cut framerails, etc....
Keep it civil. It's only a question. We all respect the truck and can't take away from what you done, I just dont think this has ever been addressed.

I got leaf springs... and Caltrax... And i consider it "stock"... It all Bolts on and Off and its still heavy crap that truck came with ... Travis ( BLOWN06) went 11.06 with NOTHING but stock chassis ! No caltrax or long bars even stock wheels !! yeah maybe one day it will move again ... and yea... still "GOT LEAFS"
Hate to argue with you, but some vehicles come with 4 links off the lot. Imo stock is what it comes with from the factory.Quote:

Look around and you won't find any classes that still go by "stock suspension"... Nobody gives a shit about that anymore. They go by tire size... Drag radial, 275, 10.5, etc etc. That's what EVERYBODY goes by now a days... Tire size with limits on turbo size, how many stages, N/A, yada, yada. Whatever happened to just claiming you have a fast truck period:chevy:

This is true... it's not easy to "just go run a 9". Alot of people make enough power to run a 9 on paper but it doesn't always happen... and there is a HUGE difference in a 9.99 vs a 9.0 lol some just "make it look easier than others"Quote:
