Have you guys been reading about this in the mags. check out this website semasan.com Looks like our goverment want screw some more. What do you guys think?

ppl dont care how many jobs they end these days. they are all about that whole "green" bs. that green bs has ended so many jobs and is going to end more jobs. It may put the boilermakers out of work since they want clean power. leave it to the tree huggers to finally make ground. Todays world if youre not green your nothing it seems like.

Now that I think about it, I best it would be best.

We have to do whatever we can to prevent anyone from ever being hurt in a car accident due to high speeds and so forth. I feel it is time for us to all think about the children!

Might be because I'm an electrical engineer...but I'm actually hoping more 'electric' cars come out. The power those things can make is ridiculous. Obviously, the prius wasted this concept, but the power is instant. Granted, the technology is still WAY too expensive, but the gasoline engine hasn't come very far in the last 50 years.

Yeah I hope no more electric cars come out since I work in the Oil patch. Needless to say there are thousands of products that rely on pertrolmum. Electric cars cant smell like VP race fuel. Arc flash is bad. Give me Dino Juice.

electric cars will ruin the land. you have to dispose of the batterys where are you going to put hundred of thousands of batterys each year? right there is 100% pure wasted effort

not to mention the electric car is a step backward in tehcnology, lets see when was the last time we tried the electric car and it failed? oh the 80's with the ev1, then before that? oh yeah thats right the begining of the 1900's and do you still see any electric cars running around new york? nope did think so, do you know why? Because im not about to stand at a fill station for 6 bloody hours waiting on my car to "fill up", people cant seam to wrap their head around that, its a step backwards not to mention your still burrning oil or coal to make that car go. its like e85 it takes a gallon of fuel to make a gallon of e85, yeah that makes a whole lot of since. Electric cars, yeah thats a dumb ass idea....

Would hydrogen cars be better? Fillup is about as fast as a normal car, and you can make many horsepowerz with it. Better yet, we can all run on plutonium and blaze by everyone with 1.21 gigawatts of whoopass!!!

if they are going to out law anything let it be the black soot producing vehicles. the carbon monoxide from diesels is far worse for enviorment then the carbon monoxide from gas. They need a way to produce less black soot everywhere

I dunno bout you guys but up here are commercial trucks our sniffed. Just went through this at work, all of our field trucks are mechanical Cummins except for one. They're all "adjusted" and are well over there advertised power rates, all of them will roll the coal out. And they all still passed without being re-adjusted. We have tons more restrictions on that stuff than you guys, so really you have scare tactics on both side of the fence.

anytime i get behind a diesel i start choking. i may be sensitive to it but some are just horrible, mainly dually trucks not the semi's.
