electric cars will ruin the land. you have to dispose of the batterys where are you going to put hundred of thousands of batterys each year? right there is 100% pure wasted effort

Obviously, the prius wasted this concept, but the power is instant. Granted, the technology is still WAY too expensive, but the gasoline engine hasn't come very far in the last 50 years.
