an ls miata. i have the motor and i am not starting the hunt for a donor car. from what i have heard and look at they are easy to build and super fast when they are done.
You like fast boats??
Workin on an '81 chev. I literally have no idea of where i'm headed with the project though. I just keep buying new parts and coming up with new ideas. I need more brains and less money for once. :spit:
I need to make mine do that
I'm about to start on my 80 after I make the finishing touches on the GOAT. I'm in the same boat as you. I don't know if I want to resto-mod and keep it factory looking, or resto-mod it and chop it down to a short bed and go all out. It's my jelly's(granddad) truck and there is a lot of bad blood between me, my dad and older half-brother over it. It's the truck I learned to drive in and the truck is priceless to me as far as sentimental value goes. I guess it's a good thing times are a little tough with the mrs not having a job or it would have already been cut up possibly.
I've been working on this my 67 chevy for 6yr now. Here what looks like so far.

sorry casey hadnt decided on any other project yet, but did have a bike in mind but i doubt that would ever happen, been there done that to an extent ;), so whatcha got in mind for your next project?
I'm about to finish up a '34 Ford 5-window coupe (one of my old man's cars). The car was purchased as a 12 year old all original resto. Since then its gotten a 9" rear, disc brakes, lowered suspension, T-5 trans, and full tilt N/A flathead. Engine work was done by me, installation and chassis work was done by a complete dumb A**. We got the car back a few months ago and it still needs a floor and a redo on some of the front chassis (mostly cutting and rewelding). The guy installed a junk fuel system that doesn't work and I thing he installed a junk distributor. Got some bugs to work out and some finishing touches. When finished I have a car to put my Tommy Gun to use.
BTW: I doubt there is any interest on this web-site, but I've got a brand new French Flathead block for sale. Never even been machined. Asking $2000.00 if you know anyone interested. I think I've got the correct oil pan and pickup tube for it as well. This is a very rare block, sought by flathead racers for its ability to built BIG. 300+ cubic inches.
workin on my stingray in the sig. as soon as it gets runnin its going up for sale tho. after i graduate and get a house, its onto a resotmod 69 stingray :naughty:
no time while we're working 70 hour work weeks:ugh2:
