The lsa isn't the best for FI applications and would bleed boost.
Sorry, I haven't been paying attention to your build... what are the build specs? Motor, heads, intake, shift points etc. etc.?
434 HKE wcch l92s lsxr about 400 rpm before it stops making power
yeah i wouldn't go lower than a 114 lsa
thats a wild combo..
why so casey
o btw some where between an 88-101 haven decided and my buddy from garrett has to do some more digging
Your building a 7.0+L engine at HKE in houston..... with L92s from WCCH out in cali... ( GREAT engine shop and my choice for my motor) with a set of heads that flow bad GREAT but dont hold up well to big boost...and odd cam specs.. i know the l92 stuff is a bit different... this motor 10:1 compression??? and i agree not my choice for camshaft...... Not to bash you... but had to follow.........
under standable but got a very good deal on the short block and a awsome deal on the heads lets just say i have a set of stock wheels in the heads lol and a left nut in the short block and im not being sarcastic about the left nut thing
like i said good deal lol
those heads wont hold up to well with their thin deck.
Trade the heads off for better ones. I would also have a pro spec the cam.
We need to know everything about your motor before we can give you decent cam specs. This build has the potential to make stupid power.
9.5:1 dish 4" stroke 4.155" bore 6.125" rod im guessing ill be going with a new lsx head opt for extra bolt now lsx block 1/2 studs
Ummmm.... Lets see...
214/230 .628/.644 118.5 LSA. GO BIG OR GO HOME!
Or even a GT2-3 cam. But considering the extent of this build, you could cheat on the size and go a lil bigger to maybe a 209/228 .581/.592 118 LSA.
or a 2002 LS6 cam. :taunt:
