My friend that works for the Silverado salvage yard called me today and told me about an 05 shortblock they had. I got the block with rods, pistons, crank,cam, and lifters for $75. He hooked me up with all of the bolts from a 5.3 he had just torn down too. Hes gonna give me an oil pan, windage tray, timing cover, and valley cover when he rounds some up.
Tell your friend I need a set of L92 heads. :D
I dont know if they have any trucks with those in them. I will try and find out.
