Arent the pistons wrong for a 5.3 stroke? Pin location in wrong place for a longer rod or something? Interesting idea but I'd sure measure the distance from the center of the wrist pin to the top of the piston.
I can use L33 pistons then? Mark and I were thinking they were the same but good call greg. Ill have to find out.Quote:

True statement. The bore between the 4.8/5.3 is exactly identical and a longer rod is used. The pistons should fit perfectly on stock 5.3L rods.Quote:
