eh I just use the jack, im only under there for like 5 min anyway
yeah just crawl up under it, and get dirty boy. damn at least change your own oil.lol
i know i know. lol
yeah thats what a guy said at work!! now hes not with us :(
jack it up. put it on stands secure the emergency brakes, block the rear tire, if you dont do this then youre lazy lol!!
be safe man dont take like for grantic ;)
Unless you are dumb and lowered your truck () you can just crawl under there and do it without jacking the truck up.
If you jack it up use stands...the jack could slip
with a 2/2 drop i can still craw under mine and change it :)
How many Aggies does it take to change 5 qrts of oil?
just put it on the lift!

Use stands but you should just be able to crawl under
yeah seriously, less you cant fit crawling is clear choice...??
lol i can fit...in order to save money ill just re-use the oil i take out
thats perfectly fine right guys?:dancenana:
just don't make the same mistake i did by switching to full synthetic after 135k mi. you'll be looking for a new engine by 150k.
just use some ramps... easy & works fine
I carefully drive down the steep bank of a bar ditch until mine flips over onto the roof allowing the oil to drain from the filler and easier access to the filter.
After the other replies it didn't take long.
I just roll my desk chair out there, grab a 5 gallon bucket, reach up and pull the plug :)
this video is really informative...i think it could really help alot of us on here out...
YouTube - The Red Green Show - Changing your Oil
Thats great! Good show, informative is right
Do not know if you have a 4X4 but this is what I do.
I had some 2X8 lumber to use up so made up just a two layer 3" ramp to drive up on. [ kept them flat ]
Just enough height underneath and not so high up that you need a ladder to put the oil in.
Oh yes, a nice piece of card board to put down.
