I have beat them before. Highly modded ones are fast. You will have a hard time with your setup and mods.
what is a flt level 5 and a yank 2600 in your mod are you runin a 6L or 5.3
where u live? My wifes tahoe beats on diesels all the time... and some fast ones too....lol... diesels are easy to make fast.... but wont live long if not done right....
flt levle 5 is a trany from finish line and yank 2600 is a 2600 stall from yank...... your new to gas ant ya

na not really vet servos hd2 shift kit a tune and a rear mount with a warbro in tank and 60lb injectors thats all he would need
no im not new to gas its just everyone around his is stuck on diesel. there know one that know how to seriously mod gases like turbo and charger. ive had tune and programmer cai and all that stuff for about 3 years now. 2 diesel around here thats runin 11.3 and i know of 8 that will go 12 in a heart beat and yes if you stack to programmers on a new dodge with a lift pump and there in the 12 no problem.
you will love turbo and if you can weld you can do it yourself no prob just do your research you can get a t70 turbo pretty cheap you can get a ls6 cam witch is a real good turbo cam for 150 you will be out of the black smoke in no time
Some bolt ons and you might get 460 HP haha
whats a good brand an place to get it? i seen the one on ebay but they look cheap what about the wastgates and the manifold?

sorry man, Ive been in diesel racing since 02, there is not a truck on the market today.... specially new ones with a DPF that will go 12s with tuners alone.... research it. Im not talking about taking your buddies word for it, or the high school kid that thinks what it runs, Or the guy that will just say, oh ya, its stock.. just a tuner....lol... b/c i do the same... and i have prolly 20k in my diesel in mods alone. its all in what you like, there are fast diesels out there, but lots of fast gassers too. so instead of just saying you want to beat all diesels, set a goal, 1/4 mile or hp... and go for it... good luck.Quote:

lol, alot more than a tuner.... kinda like saying hp tuners is a tuner for our trucks with tst and smarty....lol... man i know how fast diesels are... like i said....I have very fast one... and i know what it takes to make them fast... a good tune will get you in low 13s... need alot of support to get lower.... mostly tranny... and id like to see a vid of your buddies 6.7 run 12s... not saying i dont believe it..

you could i run 13.669 on 20s with street tires with out sprain a 175 shot but i don even have that truck now right now i buildin an turbo ls1 240sx wona run that
