N/A 4.8 THAT IS,I RECENTLY HAVE THE Z06 CAM,BUT IT SUX,IT WORKED NICE WITH THE BLOWER.WELL NOW NO MORE BLOWER,SO I WANT TO DO ANOTHER CAM SWAP.I WANT A 6500 RPM REDLINE,LOW LSA CAM.
ANY SUGGESTIONS??

it was the TSP high lift 224 and was used with a TB converter
Ok I Saw The 224 They Offer A 112 And A 114 Lsa,what Would Be Better For My Rcsb,also With A More Aggressive Sound?
And Thats A Good Rpm Power Band Too 6400:)

i would get the 112 lsa and whats your point with 6600? i spin 7600 from time to time
My old cam was a 226/236 .525/.525 110lsa and I shifted at 6500rpms. Made 317whp 300wtq with a nitrous tune. I miss it a lot. low lift cam and springs = more engine miles without changing valvesprings.
has more to do with valve events then just lift. Lift is a bi-productQuote:

The second cam is going to be easier on the valvetrain.
Anyways, figure out what sound you want, and what goals you have. IMO the ASA cam was a nice cam. cost effective horsepower. And could run just as long as a stock setup. If you going to DD it, I would suggest a lazy lobe, and lower lift. If its a track truck, and your not going to put 12kplus miles on it, go more aggresive.
well that also goes back to what lobes its on. you can have 2 cams with similar specs but totally different lobes.Quote:

A .000"/.000" 000 @ .050" with a 0 LSA is easiest on the valve springs.

wow lmfao i said that^^ on my birthday and ended up getting the sucky thumper cam,now im back in this situation got rid of the thumper and hate the syock cam!! lol

Well mine is a 224/228 581/588 on a 112 and I love it!!!! But I do have a 3600 stall.
I say GO BIG OR GO HOME!!!!!
6.0 L engine swap is the cam i recommend :D
I run the tr220 114 in my 4.8 and love it but im too lazy to buy a stall so im probably missing out on its full potential
Zach--just do the Texas Speed 224R on a 112 LSA and be done with it!
