if its cheap, i think they stall at around 2800? idk iv driven my moms blazer ss and it definitely doesn't feel like a truck converter.
Arent the 2600 trailblazer stalls in the v6's? If the price is right go for it.
oh, well then i don't know.
V6?
Oh you mean the extremely rare 2002 Blazer Trailbalzer package with the weirdo trim and stuff?
I think CD takes stock converters and cuts them up, fixes the guts for what you need (within reason), welds them back together, then checks them out.
Newbies need not forget that higher weight, torque output, etc. makes the stall speed higher too....the 4200 INLINE 6-cylinder is pretty small, even compared to a 4.8.
Thats what I meant thanks for correcting me
so is it worth it?
price?
For a cheap upgrade, yes it would be better than the stocker. IMO, I would go with a Yank or PI if the funds are available. Another option would be to look at what CircleD could work out for you on their verters.
if that's all you can afford then its worth it.
Here's a fresh Yank if your interested:

i think a tb converter would def. be worth it,if u could get one cheap
me and Nathan are putting one in my truck this coming weekend, ill let u know if it was worth it...i got mine for 125 (which is super cheap compared to and aftermarket verter), but ill post up the differences between the stock truck verter and the I6 tb verter after i do the swap
The TB stall is about a 2300-2400 stall. If it is cheap, why not? It would be a good stall for your Maggie truck. Maggies don;t need but a few RPMs off idle to start making good power...
