Is this the correct plug for a front o2 sensor?

This what came on my harness and as I was shopping for sensors this site shows a different plug for the front o2... WTF?

What they are calling the rear o2 looks like what I have for the front o2 is there any difference besides the plug?
depends on the harness, year model and type of vehicle. Thats the kind that goes on the rear O2s on trucks. The 2002 model truck harness I have here has a flat four pin connector. Fbody cars have that style front and rear. V6 fbody harness has the opposite sex connectors, that's what all the Nelson harnesses have on them that I've seen.
Oh yeah, thats the same connector my truck uses.
Well my motor is a 2002 truck motor, the million dollar question is is there any difference in front and rear sensors other than the plug?
that plug in you have in your hand looks alot like the plug in for the park/neutral switch. my o2's were I believe were flat.
The NSS plugged in, its definately an o2 but I agree with you the fronts are a flat plug...Quote:

nope, no difference from fronts to rears, at least the Fbody uses the same sensors front to rear. The only difference is one has a longer lead on it on the passenger side vs the driver side. Not 100% sure on the trucks. Corvette rear 02 sensors are commonly used on vehicles with headers, they work better with the cooler exhaust temps.

Sure sounds like an 02 connector to me. I'd get the Corvette rear sensors and put them in there.
ok so pretty much any o2 that fits the plug will work ok?
The smaller connector on the park switch has 6 wires I think. Most vehicles have one type of connector for the front and the other for the rear to keep them from getting mixed up. It's tough to say for sure if they're all the same but I'm gonna say yes as well. The harness length and connector type is the greatest difference (although later systems have different vendors and some have a different type of ground). The ones that physically look different, probably are.
well my rear 02's had trapezoid shaped plugs and the square ones in front
