I don't care who you are, 3:35 in the 1500m is ridicuous. Last Monday when I was at the gym, I wanted to see if I could still run a sub 5 minute mile. I had one of my trainer friends time me--I ran 800m of warm up and then did the timed mile. I finished with a 4:48. I did the calculations--and that averages 12.48 mph for a mile. I was happy to know as an old balding guy, that I could still do a sub 5 minute mile. I was damn near death afterwards--and there is NO WAY I could imagine trimming another minute off that. But then again, I guess that is why they are Olympians and I'm not. :cry:
No crap. That is ALL I care about--beating China in the medal count. :D
