ebay is your friend.. i would say 2k on average...

Talked to the guy he already has the conversion kit for the 88-98 chevy truck like mine and has it bolted up to his truck, he says that he has the A/C lines made up and the only thing it needs is the wiring harness. He wants 1300$ for it all...
BTW: My truck is a '97 RCSB with the 5.7

I got my 5.3 for 700.. and yeah I got the tranny for a little more... haha
I am supposed to be getting pictures of this motor tonight and I will post them on here. If its what he says it is all I will need is a wiring harness I think...

its got emissions on it lol. yank that mess off.. also i would just find the cheapest 5.3 on the market, then re build it your self before you swap it. I spent 3500 bux on a lq9 an 80e tranny, being the idiot i am, i didn't rebuild the motor, an sure enough it had some problems.
Wow is this the norm? Is there anything I can check to make sure the motor is in good shape? I would hate to get the motor in an it not be running...Quote:
