does anyone know where i can get a decent lowering kit? maybe like an inch in the front, and 2 inches in the back? if i got that would it make the truck look even instead of the back end looking kicked up?

Jegs or Summit has about the best prices I have found. McGaughys makes the best engineered products if you want spindles. If you only want 1" in the front you can go with a coil. 2" lowering in the rear can be done with a simple shackle. If you just want to level it out, go with the shackle only.
I don't know of any company that makes a 1 2 drop. You can get two inch Belltech lowering shackle, a buddy of mine went that route, it looks good. But a Hotckis 2 4 drop suspention kit would look sweet and make it handle like it was on rails, the kit comes with front + rear springs, front + rear sway bars w/bushings. It will still ride decent, I hear that any lower than a 2 4 gets rough. Thats what I want to put on my truck.
If you want level get the shackle only. If you go 2/4 make sure you ask them if you need to shim the rear axle and what it will take to do that. :duh:
I ahve a 2/4 drop on mine, i live on rough roads and it rides like it doesn't have tires on it sometimes, but on the highway you wouldn't be able to tell that it was lowered.
does anyone have a pic of thier truck with a 2-4 drop on it? also how much does the actual hotchkis kit cost? guy i used to work with said, if i wanted rims, i should get those first before i do any kind of lowering, because if i want certain rims, they may not fit.
My truck as a 3.5/4 drop on it. I don't know if you remember it from the track the other day.Quote:

The rear height is just right, but my front end is too low for practicality. If you lower the front with a spindle it will ride just like stock. I would buy the McGaughy spindle for the front. That will lower the front 2 inches which should be perfect.
Ross
yeah i remember your truck from the track ross. i really liked it, but i dont think i could see myself in something that low. so what, a set of spindles to get it two inches lower in the front, then what about the back?
haha why dont i just start cutting springs, so my front tires bow in so much that the inside walls of my tires get rubbed down first, and then i can write my last name "fuentes" on the back in old english letters  nah im just kidding.
Belltech makes as low as 1" block for lowering rear.
i heard that if you swap in a OBS coil spring up front it will drop it 1". anyone else hear that?
