i shed a 100lbs off my nnbs,the lighter the better,,now time to transfer weight.
yeah roll that thing up to the staging lane with just a frame and a driveline. She'll move quite quickly then
-washer fluid tank delete
-replace x members with lighter tubular ones
-replace a-arms with tubular ones
-lighter brakes, parking brake delete
-get rid of the leafs and get a 4 link.
-shave all the steps, flares, ect off the body
-lighter wheels, I wouldnt run anything larger then 16's, 18s on a full size.
-fiberglass or carbon fiber hood.
-scrape plate delete
-spare tire delete
-ditch the jack an whatever else you have
-dont run a sound system
-sport mirrors
-plexiglass rear window
-trade out power windows and doors for manual
-make your next engine build all aluminum
-ditch the inner fenders
-tailgate delete
-get under your truck with a grinder and a few cutoff wheels and cut out any tabs and crap that you dont need.
-remove your engine cover and any other crap you can from your engine bay.
-roll pan
-lightweight seats
for wieght transfer
-move battery to rear
-rear fuel tank or cell
-move the tranny and oil cooler to rear
