i dont see why the ls motor would be any different as far as reliability. it all depends on the parts that are used. i6 obviously have a much stronger bottom end by design, they have more main caps...

well when you get into alot of power. say 600 plus isnt it alot harder to lean out a cylinder or predetinate with fuel injection?
yea but that's only if your bad at tuning.
