very cool moze glad she is finally coming together...
I'll get some pictures and video up tonight.
told you turbo's where easy... just a pain to tune some times...
update your sig Mozey
Oh Yeah!!! :D
Kind of early to be drinking isn't it?
funny i thought he was smoking crack
Crack and booze is a bad combo.
its the okies way of life...thats why they think they are all F.A.S.T.
Should change the site to S.A.T.T. (Slow Ass Track Trucks)
you are slow when an ext cab tow truck drags everything around including the bikes :o
at the rate your going it will take you a while to have all this done...so we really arent worried about you cause it's all a bunch of hot air
All I care about is that the truck runs good and doesn't have issues. I think (hope) being the larger turbo will be easier on the drivetrain.
Might not have a lot off the line, but once this sucker gets spooled up, the top end should be pretty nice.
turbo is less stress anyways, it comes into the power...nitrous is a whole lot of torque right on the hit and then torque falls and makes hp
Send the truck down here, let jon make a 4 link set up for you, no traction issues for you :tacos:
Alrighty - not the best - but here is a video and below are some pictures of the finished thing:
The turbo, downpipe, re-routed heater hoses & braided steel oil supply line, blow-off valve...

Blow off valve...there's another "horn" opposite the one you see...should be pretty loud:

Finished intercooler:

Catch-can. Great location. Lower that the outlet on the valve cover, so gravity assisted, no fumes in cab!

it's alive!!!!:beerchug:
:D
Looks good! What did you do to get coolant through the turbo? Put it inline with one of the heater hoses?
Yeah the coolant is feeding off the "T" on the hose coming off of the coolant reservoir, then feeding back into the adjacent hose.
are you gonna be running any kind of meth setup? btw I REALLY wanna here that BOV. get the wifey to stand on the side of the road and you do a fly by or something
No plans for meth. Once it's tuned I'll def get some videos.
lmao ducky... glad to see it together and running moze...
got the wideband in it yet Virgil? :)
Hey Louis - I'm picking it up tomorrow after work and will have it in by Thursday. Thanks again for your help.
Cool, I already have the new HPT config ready to rock and roll. Im going to bring my FJO just in case. Ill have to dust it off... Damn you and your pure SD setup :D
congrats man Wish I boosted
Yeah, sorry about the SD. That's how Allen and Billy both suggest doing it.
I appreciate your help - can't wait til I can get into it. :)
So, how's it feel in the seat of the pants so far?
You should probably get the muffler installed on it before getting the final tune since it will affect how it runs.
Effin badass Mozey! You need to get a vid of setting the camera one the ground looking at the exhaust and then going and rev the motor so we can hear the turbo through the exhaust...
DO IT NOW.
Not sure Greg, don't think I've been over 2500 rpms. Trying to behave. :)
Muffler is getting welded on today after work.
Not revving it enough to really hear the turbo yet Tyler, sorry.
