You would be able to go into production on those with a healthy profit margin rather easily... I'm still a lil bitter I spent $122 shipped on the harness. I got my engine PCM and harness for $150! lol
That is the way it is with these swaps. I have everything so far and I have $0 bucks into my swap well maybe 7 for a can of paint.
Bought the motor for 350
sold the transmission 450
bought the accessories 100
So for $0 I have a swap if I want to run stock exhaust manifolds etc. but I won't be doing that. Going long tubes but once I sell my vortech motor I bet I come out pretty close to break even.
Yeah, getting my hands on a Y pipe is turning into a pain in the ass. Starting to wish I'd just gone with long tubes. Depending what I can sell the TBI, long tubes, etc for.. I'm thinking I'll be 1500 into it which I'm very much OK with. (thats ignoring the extra grand spent for the cam and stall.. lol)
What type of Ypipe do you have?
Looking good! Love the 2 doors!
Little update, found an intake for my truck so I am closer to being able to do the swap. On another note I may have a 6.0/4l80e I could use instead.
Almost forgot, I added some NNBS seats out of my 2008 Tahoe into the 2 door Tahoe.
