Amen on that one I know there are a few of us that work in the oil and gas field he for sure aint gonna be looking out for us. Yeah the tax% thing is :bsflag:. i worked hard all the way through High school manual back breaking labor, I decided i didnt wanna do that forever, so i joined the military served 6 years and got out, now ive got a high school diploma and thats it, besides all the military schools ive had(which mean didly in the civilian world) but anyways I dont do bad for having an office job, but even im thinkin about pickin up a weekend job just for extra cash flow, I got lucky and landed a good job, but you can make good money doin other stuff like manual labor, I used to bitch and moan all the time, until payday came and it was like holy ****, the oil field is always looking for a good hand :thumb: and im not into the whole lets invest now crap and just stay home until i retire, I spend my money and have a blast doing it, lets say youre 50 401k looks good you got some investments goin good just bought some stock, you and the wifey go see a movie on friday night, on the drive home youre talking to her about how good things are gonna be, "just think hon, in a few years we're gonna be living it up" she replies " I know i cant BOOM!!!!! drunk driver crosses the centerline youre both killed on impact.........at least your kids will get to spend your hard earned money right.

We all have hard times Ricky--it just how you decide to deal with them. As a 21 year old girl like yourself, you need to move out and get a place on your own. It will teach you a bunch of things--including responsibility for taking care of yourself. and it was also be a good place for you to bring a chick home--IF that ever happens. :lol:
Well said man. I believe every word you just said, but when it comes down to it, the only thing we have any chance in Hell of controlling is who WE elect to represent us. Even though every candidate does not have EVERY quality we like, we have to settle and pick one that we like the most. From there, the only thing we can do is pray that there are enough people that believe in the same things we do sp that they may be elected into office.Quote:

Buy and read The Art of Influence by Chris Widener. Now that you are close to be a graduate you will start having to educate yourself.
Reading can get you further than any University in the country, and its a whole lot cheaper.
reading and influencial people will also inspire you to thrive for larger goals.i grew up very poor and had no choice but too go out at 13 also and get too work.i used to pay attention alot and listen and obsorb all advice given out by my peers.when i saw other people with the things i wanted i strived harder and worked more to get those things and better.i never hung out with people my age because i wanted to learn and i had to grow up[and wether you believe it or not older people know what theyre talking about.so pay attention!].Then came a family,if that doesnt make you want too work harder and provide better for youre children than what you had,than i dont know what will.youre gona be alright ,you already have alot of good advice right here in this thread,and with the people you hang out with from this thread will be able too give out plenty of good advice.In conclusion ,get the hell out of sears as soon as you can can and pursue something you want too cause youre wasting time,and that time is valuable when youre working for raises ,and life is passing your ass bye,b4 you know it youre 40 and still getting minimum wage at sears, if you dont set some goals.good luck.
