Looks like those tires are a little skinny for the wheels or is it just me?
they are stretched, but im running a 275 on an 11 which is within the factory specs on the tire, not super stretched like a 205 on a 10.5 or anything like some people do. Cant really run any larger on a gto without modding the suspension/fender tubs anyhow, so im not really sacrificing a lot of width with a 11.2 inch tread width. I wanted larger lips so i had to stretch the tire on there. Since the falken i have on here now comes with a "rim protector" feature in the sidewall, it causes it to poke a little, which im not really into, and some other tires dont really do..but im willing to deal with it and have the sticky tire i run..

Easily swapped to my other wheels if you are into a different look though. Just will not even remotely handle as crazy as it does with the ccw's. gotta raise it up about an inch though, but heres a test fit to give you an idea.. The fronts arent pictured but i run gto spares with mh skinnies and 1 inch spacers.

The poke did not look as bad on my r888 toyos. but those tires are like 800+ a pair and last less than 5000 miles.

most of those pictures are of it slammed on the ground at car shows. those toyos are hands down the nastiest tires ive ever ran. You get them to 150-200 degrees, and they will suck your eyeballs out of your head when you shred a turn.
seeing those old pics remind me of what my car looked like when it was slow and not a dented up pile of garbage. LOL.. :( Well not AS dented up. Pulling the fenders over 1.5 inches from stock is pretty difficult to do without skim coating the fender and repainting it in the end. The spot welds for the quarter to subframe turn into dimples after you roll over them so many times, hence the ripples in the fender lips.
Personally I'm not a huge fan of the whole narrow tire look, but I will say that car is about hella sexy. Also I love the Commodore front end.
