Don't let Alton fool you, his truck has zero HP. I guarantee you though it's the lightest truck on the website right now.

Bud8. Those Sportsman S/Rs are some cool tires, but I was looking at this: http://www.mickeythompsontires.com/2006_MT_Catalog.pdf Go to page 11 of the catalog - page 14 of the .pdf file. Those things get up to weighing almost 60lbs each!! Now granted, they're radials and your hittin' 800rwhp, but that's a lot of weight in my opinion.
My Indy S/S only weigh 37 by comparison. I think you'll be happy of course - presuming the rear, tranny and D/S hold together - lol!!!

<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(93Ext5.7ltr @ Sep 24 2006, 02:03 PM) </div>We are guessing around 800rwhp. The block is here already; 408, Eagle 4.0 4340 crank, ARP main studs, Eagle rods with ARP rod bolts, Wiesco -32 forged pistons, Speed Pro Hellfire rings, Patriot heads with 2.08's and 1.6's. Cam will be 232/228 .595.595 114 lsa.Quote:
^^ I saw those while I was looking for what I wanted to go with and was like - crap, that looks like a driveshaft/third-member nightmare - LOL.
So what else is in the setup? How'd you get 800rwhp in that thing?

The rest of the set up is something like this as of now.
Twin TO4e turbos, 60-1, .81, P trim, two 38mm Tial wastegates, Tial 50mm blow off valve, custom front mount intercooler, 75lb injectors, Versafueler, twin Bosch 044 fuel pumps from a sumped stock tank, -10 feed line, maybe using stock feed line for return, rails still up in the air, boost referenced pressure regulator,
may use 6.0 manifolds to the turbos, relocate battery(yellow top Optima) to the pass side of the bed, Caltracs to launch, 3:08s to load the turbo, built 4L80e, stall, custom drive shaft.
I know there are things I didnt mention, but you get the idea.
^^ SICK!! Your gonna have some Supercharged/turbocharged Camaros and every new BMW M6 wondering what just happend as they try to sniff the air for NOS as you blast by.

i dont think a 12" x 30" on a 18" rim will weigh that much.....they make those thing all the way out to a 24" wide tire and i think those would prolly weigh a hell of alot....
<div class='quotetop'>QUOTE(93Ext5.7ltr @ Sep 24 2006, 06:39 PM) </div>shit man they are gonna pass smooth out due to lack of oxygen in the air as soon as i hit it and these turbos spool up     :lol:Quote:
