Cam and converter suggestion for 2012 crew cab 5.3

Usually 706/862s. 243s have bigger chambers and will lower your CR which will negate any gains. Not worth it.

I have an extra set of 706 heads sitting in my garage, if you're interested.

No worries thats why we are here to learn. :thumb: If you swapped to 4.8 pistons or milled the 243s it would be a great idea, but not just a direct swap.

Why don't you put a lil love into those heads and port them!

I most likely will once i get them off for the cam swap since i gotta tear the top half off any ways. Ill practice on some junk 706's to get my craft down then work the 243's and the intake a lil...
