it seems like 170-180 range for trans temps is what everyone says is good. 200+ on a stock truck is probably why trannys go out with gramps behind the wheel @ 40k miles.

Got my third in three weeks with no 3-4 burnt up grand pa stock trucks....
I need to get on this quickly, because its been atrociously hot up here the last few days. Any advice on a particular manufacturer to go with for a trans cooler? What size should I be looking for? Id like it to be able to accomodate an 80e when I do my upgrade, so I dont need to buy another one

How long does it usually take to get one of these in? Im your regular kinda shadetree mech-a-nic, but my biggest virtue is common sense and knowing when Im in over my head. Seems relatively basic, but I dont want to be in a situation where Im flirting with disaster on my DD
