Is it worth getting this tranny then? If so how much more would I need to spend to get it to work on my setup? Im sure its not worth going through the hassle of swapping output shafts correct considering the built tranny one is stronger, well if it is...Quote:

output shaft is different in 2wd/4wd .if you still bought it and replaced it ,make sure you replace it with a billet output shaft ,trust me,it was about 4-500 bucks i believe.although you could sell the 1 in it for 2wd to someone,i would say it probly has a 2wd billet shaft in it.good luck.I went through 3-4 output shafts b4 i installed a billet 1,knock on wood no issues with the billet shaft.good luck
He has the 4wd shaft in his ruck already? Won't that one work?

That trans being an FLT trans I would only want FLT to swap the shafts. Some one else gutting it would void FLTs warrenty.
Depends on if FLT is the one that refreshed it or not. Allen could have it swapped out by the builder, otherwise. The FLT only has a 6 month warranty, right?
