ok thanks you. yall are funny and so i'll measure tomorrow morning. but your sayin find a SS six lug truck, like NBS, and it will work? or a 2500 NBS? and it should bolt right up.....Quote:

the only reason why i'm doin it is because eventually i want to be sittin on 37s with big HP and gears. so most say a 10 bolt won't hold up?
That or really step up to the plate and put 10.5" full floating axles in there. You'll need to swap to 8 bolt wheels but you'll never hurt that axle and if you do you can repair it on the trail or road without totally disassembling the whole axle.
my spring perches are more like 49" from center to center...
