Wiring for Speedometer help!!

allen put in the switch, and it gave me PR32 im missing N D 1

That sounds like the switch needs to be pulled off of the tranny and readjusted. Turn the switch where the linkage goes through all of the way to the right or left and watch the positioning on the cluster and then reinstall it. If the switch was pulled off with it in the "N" position it can cause this problem. The switch needs to be in P and the linkage needs to be all of the way in Park. I had this same problem on another swap I did.

thanks ill try this tomorrow morning :)

i pulled it off, turned the thing all the way to the right, all the lights were the same, put it back on, and the lights are still not coming on in N D 1. turned it all the way to the left, same thing... :ugh2:

i was able to make it say 2nd gear, when it was in park but when i shifted it, it went back to what it is doing, ill make a video of it later

Ok I was just on DD site reading up on that interface unit and it says the 700r4 output 4kppm, so is it then coverted to 2kppm for the speedo? Im a little confused bear with me!:ugh2:

Yes it converts the signal to 2000k. Call and talk to technical or sales, they were the ones that told me it would work.

Damn that sucks ChevyLee, maybe the switch is bad. Do you have another one? I'll look in the garage but I think my original one was broke.
