YOU NEED AT LEAST A 3000 STALL. THE TRUCK IS S/C, ISN&#39;T IT?. I THINK YOU ARE NOT LETTING THE MOTOR GET WOUND UP WHEN YOU TAKE OFF. THIS IS JUST MY OPINION. FUDDLE 3200, YANK 3200, VIG 3200, THESE ARE WHAT I WOULD GO WITH. I THINK THE 2600 IS TOO SMALL.

Just because the converter it new does not mean it can&#39;t have a factory defect. Maybe the disks are draging in the converter? what is the weight diff between the converters? I&#39;m not all that familure with high stall converters w/lock ups, but anything with more than one disk just seems like it would be heavier and that would definetly drag you down. :twocents:

i called PI and told me that i can go with a 3000 and pump#4, but this stall came with only 500miles on it and the guy who had it before had the same setup as me

i dont think there&#39;s something wrong with it, cuz im getting the same ET&#39;s of when i had the tbstall, go figure, im wondering if the tune needs to get tweaked a bit, if the stock stall is unlock @wot does this mean that this one is too or what

YOU NEED MORE. I BET THAT S/C STARTS PULLING HARD AT 2500-2700RPMS? I COULD BE WRONG, BUT IT WOULD MAKE YOUR 60 FT A LOT FASTER, IF YOU HAVE TRACTION.

you think so thats what the guy from PI told me to upgrade it to a 3000stall, cuz the tbstall i had the best 60ft i got was a 1.77 which was damn good for a v6 2600stall, but was losing the same power as this pi vig

Why don&#39;t you just go back with the stock stall? It was already proven with your set up.

If the converter is locked at wot during third gear, and your truck doesn&#39;t have enough HP, the converter locking will really pull the truck down and you&#39;ll loose mph&#33;
We can lock it, but I don&#39;t think it&#39;s going to help. Unlocking is better.

Now, is unlocking a blown engine and locking a turbo engine the way to go?
