Just picked up a 18 in case magnaflow with some Xmas giftcards. I have longtubes with spun cat and have a series 10 flowmaster now. Do u think I should exchange the 18 case for something bigger?

I think it will be too loud but that's just me go with a bigger body.
I've had Borla- sounded good but let go inside, big Magnaflow- annoying, flowmaster- annoying, no one had any spintech experiance at the time, ended up with ss dynomax- similar to magnaflow flow through design but doesn't resonate and I'm happy.
I've had 2 big case magnaflow's with no resonations... 3 other friends of mine run them on their trucks with no drone/resonating at all.
For the money the big magnaflows are by far the best muffler all around.
Will be honest, I am kind of wanting a loud exhaust, right now my 3/4ton truck sounds more like KIA than a truck. I am sure over time I will hate the drone, but I wouldn't mind it for awhile at least lol

Left cats exhaust is all stock just replaced muffler. It also seems to be getting louder. Has real deep throaty sound when driving normalQuote:

yes i can post pics for you soon. its simply a 3" to 4" adapter that looks like the beginings of a eco-tip but not chrome. then the 4" inlet/outlet spintech and we used mandrel (sp) bent diesel tailpipe to finish out to the back.Quote:

over all im please with the tone. it was really tight trying to get the tail pipe done where it cleared everything. as i stated the front part will be redone with a new flange(the factory one broke), new adapter, and the used front section will be replaced to clean it up a little. i don't like how the front section looks like a hack job but once i get my headers and ORY it will be cleaned up alot better
