Help: Water In Floorboard

I just called him and he said since the factory warranty was out, then I should just talk to the body shop guys and see how much it would cost to fix it :bash: &#33; I asked if there were any recalls or service sheets that had dealt with this in the past, so maybe I could fix it myself, and he said not that he knew of, but he transferred me to the in-house body man. The body man was really helpful. He told me some of the possible causes(which most I already knew, thanks to this site) and how to possibly fix it. So I thought that maybe I might be able to fix it. After I got off the phone, the more I thought about it, the madder I got&#33; :tantrum: Considering I haven&#39;t had it a week yet&#33; I turned around and called the salesman&#39;s boss. We discussed how my parents had purchased several vehicles from them and probably wouldn&#39;t be happy when they heard of this. :lol: He told me to bring it right over after work. I hate playing dirty with them, but they do it to us. So, I guess we&#39;ll see this afternoon.

Cross my fingers, I hope they can fix it. Then I will be :smile:

That&#39;s weird that the door carpet is wet. Makes me think that maybe someone did some work a speaker or other electrical in the door and didn&#39;t get the waterproofing sheet back in place. Thats the only way I could think that water would get up that high. It has to be in the door......maybe. :jump: Good luck with the dealer.

Well, I seems to be fixed. There was a place in the top corner of the windshield that had not been properly sealed when the windshield was replaced. It was running down the a-pillar and into the corner of the dash, down the speaker and into the floor. They fixed it within 15 minutes of my arrival. The bossman had sent my salesman out to watch while they fixed it. He didn&#39;t seem to be to happy to be out there. :laugh: Probably because I went over his head and he got in trouble. I would deal with them again, but I will use another salesman next time.
