stock trans wont hold big power, stock hydraulics wont hold aftermarket clutches, twin disk clutches arent cheap...i spent more on the manual boosted setup then i could ever imagine
i sold my old kit to a member on here
Might as well say $1 per horse for a clutch.. and that's playing on the cheap side... not to mention builting the trans its self

Between clutches, trans and trans parts, cross member, pedals, hydraulics, slaves and etc I have around 12,000 wrapped up
When I finally seen my firewall torn between the master cylinder and wiring harness hole is when I called it quits
Lordy...That is a lot of money at my house. I can understand going a different direction.
also remember clutches are rated for cars, when using them in a truck allow yourself alot of room for the weight. If you find a 1000 rated clutch id say your fine till about 700...thats one of the clutches that i used....Spec twin disk rated for 1000...died when i went over 800Quote:
