That is a gen IV motor I want to say they stopped making LQ9s and renamed the gen IV 6.0 LY6. It's a great motor. Be very careful with that 4L60E it is a time bomb after much of any modding. You can build your own intake pretty easy. NP does mail order tunes with free retunes. Why not just go that route?

Nope. With NP you pay for the tune they send you a freshly tuned PCM, you swap it out for your stock one, and mail it back. Tada! 25 hp and improved power across the rpm range.Quote:

Only if you are going to e-mail him a "snapshot" of what your PCM is doing, then yes you would need to buy hptuners. If you get with someone that already has hptuners then all you would need is to buy credits. Someone that knows more about this will hopefully clear it up or add more to it.
