New truck.. Where to start..??

Start with the little things and add up I say. Most importantly though KEEP THE OLD TRUCK!!!!! I regret selling my old truck every day. Even if it doesn't get driven much, it's nice to have one that won't hurt too bad if it gets dinged/scratched. It's nice having parents that will spoil you isn't it? A few of my buds always dogged on me in high school for having so many vehicles but what they didn't know is that I worked my whole life for nothing to get those toys. So in a way, I did buy my own cars. But yeah, headers, tune, exhaust, things of that nature to start.

wow. Nobody has said ALARM...
the first mods I did to my last and current two cars was a two-way alarm.
A code alarm to be exact.
You must not know how nice it is to have an obnoxious alarm(but actually effective) with remote start.

Thanks guys. I wish i could keep my sierra, but it's not up to me and i couldn't afford the insurance on both with the situation i'm in right now. It's gettin returned to stock. But questions, can i install headers without pulling the engine? Is the transmission in the new one a 4l60 or a 4l65?

Yeah headers go in fairly easy in a few hours.

Take the tranny and verter out and put it in the new one.

LT headers are easy and can be installed with the motor in and the front end of the truck off the ground.

Cam
Valve springs
Pushrods
TBSS (LS2 intake) with 90mm TB

Yeah man, i can't wait. I love a fresh start. And i promise it's gonna be the fastest truck in this lil rinky dink town lol. We got a couple lightnin's. I remember a few years back a guy bought a nnbs ccsb vmax, he had a cai, and a nelson tune and that was all. around here that was "fast"
