Your most likely bottomed out in the rear. If you moved the location of your rear hangers then you changed the amount of travel that is to be put on those shocks. Your front's I don't know of though. I don't think they sell a 4" drop control arm so you probably also threw in a spring or changed something else like the spindle. If its DJM call the people you bought the kit from they should have recommendations as to if you do infact need drop shocks. My recommendations are to stay away from TOXIC drop shocks. I am changing to Belltech Doetsch drop shocks over the winter.
i have the un branded doestechs from summit racing and they are the best ive had. i want to try sensatracs though.
whats this ford areostar shock you guys are talking about. ive never heard of this. thanks gary
djm makes 2,3,4,and 5in drop arms
i have sensatracs in the front (factory length) ride is very nice
i have air shocks for a aerostar and they work fine with about 40psi in them, mine is flipped in the back with 2in shakles as well
found the suggestion on GMFS back when i lowered my truck, bout 3 yrs ago, i still have these shocks on my truck today, 3 yrs and no probs, what more can u ask for from a pair of $50 shocks
what drops will they work with? i assume its rear only? thanks gary
i would say 4-8 in drop and yes, rear only
what year aerostar do you use? i assume early 90's. gary
