No, they both use the same caliper. I think that the rotors are just 1" bigger.

I know that the larger caliper will bolt right up to where the smaller caliper did. There shouldn't be any fitment issues...as long as you run a 17" wheel. This is the reason why GM went from a 16" wheel standard for the 99-03 and then upped to the 17" wheel in 04--because of the larger caliper/rotor size.
yeah, they have to have the newer caliper...trust me i tried to use the same calipers at first, i didnt notice the rotors were larger at first, and they wont spin with the older calipers on there, and you are also correct on the 17" minimum wheel size...i have to have 17 or bigger nowQuote:
