It’s actually a two door station wagon. If you look at the bed floor you will see the panel that covers the leg area used for the back seat on station wagons.
GM did in fact sell them as Trucks though.
I call them “the vehicle of indecision.”
For the guy that doesn’t know what he wants.

Full frame, bed....Ill have to go against the grain and say truck. Funny though, GM lists this as a truck also:

That's to help GM meet their CAFE average fuel mileage requirements for the truck fleet. You'd be surprised how many companies use those for work vehicles.
chrysler list the pt cruiser as a truck, and jeep lists the liberty as a truck
At least the Liberty is RWD.
A station wagon is a car and Greg stole my answer on the HHR.
I don't personally car for them but I love A-Bodys and that is exactly what it is. A station wagon cut up. Everyone has a different taste and these werent for everybody. but at the same time they are everywhere.
Thanks Nate, I was about to correct the g-body comment and add that they are a car to me. They were however, sold as trucks and are titled as trucks. I always thought it would be kinda fun to waste a gto front clip on one.
