I'm going to be running a 525in/525ex 226/236 with a 110 lsa
that 110 is very un common for a ls motor ive only seen like 109 in straight drag car i would deff got with a 112 instead less chopy
EDIT: and what rockers is that with that is small lift. ive got a 228 duration and 588 lift 112 lsa in my 408 right now and it is SMALL but i got virgils good size cam so it will be fixed
224 cam will work great on the bottle with your 5.3L. You said you were going to be running a 3200 stall... IMO, I would go with a 3600 stall and it may flash a little higher on the spray and be a good combo... cause a great combo is where its at! :melissa:
I'm going to run a 100hp of nos with my setup, and maybe a second stage 50??? I don't know how much my engine-tranny will hold up for a second stage shot.. Any guess? ((I want to stay in the safe side))
if you want your trans to hold up then no shot lol a 100 might be ok with the shift kit and servos
well, im stock and have had 2 rebuilds in 4 years lol...for the amoutn of money ive paid for rebuilds i could have gotten a lvl 3 or 4 4l80 from flt lol...then again hindsight is 20/20
Not even 100hp bud?? Do you think my tranny won't hold up to that?? I sent my pcm to Allen today.. So he can reprogram it..
yeah they arnt strong i toasted my 2nd clutches running a vette from a 55 roll with a bad running 408 (burnt up o2's and exhaust leaks) and the reason it didnt go before then is cus i lived in wyoming at 7000 feet which is 20-25% less HP
well, for my lil 5.3L with my current upgrades, that cam, stall and ud pullies, I think I might trow 340rwhp (hopefully).. Plus the NOS.. But I'm not sure how big of a shot I should do..
