IF DUCKY HAS SLICKS,THROWS A GOOD BURNOUT W/VHT,AND IM SURE HE WILL BOOST OFF THE LINE AS WELL,HE WOULDNT HAVE TO CATCH THAT SS
(AT THE TRACK)
I THINK IT WOULD BE A CLOSE RACE.AWD DONT MEAN NOTHING IF GOT TRACTION.

I dont know how well setup his suspension is. I sent him a PM on SSS.com.
Ill probably give him a run from a stop to make him happy, then ask for a roll run of my choice.
Even if i were to get slicks on the street and get a good hook, his stall and AWD will over power mine. ONLY because mine is not setup properly. If i were to adjust pinion angle, get some better shocks Im sure I could out hole shot him on the street. ill ask him to come to the track maybe to get an even race from a stop. But the odds of him coming down to SAR to race me is more unlikely then him wanting a street run
How much boost are you running. My suspension is completely stock except for 10.5 slicks. I cut 1.5x 60' times launching at 7.5 psi. 1.6x 60' times at 5-6 psi launches.
hey duck there askinfor u at Turbo'd in Austin, TX!! - PerformanceTrucks.net Forums
yeah I know its gonna be a hard one, damn near impossible to take him. but ill try
10lbs. I think ive only built like 2lbs on the line before the tires start to spin with the street tires, and with the slicks the brakes dont hold for long
yeah that guy finally pm'ed me haha I saw him last night on 35 and while i was tooling around last night bored off my ass
On the street the SS could still cut a 1.7 or so 60', so yeah, definitely from a roll at about 4000rpm and I think you'll take him because of the weight advantage. Good luck and I'll be lurking.
Woop his ass david!
it will be real tuff' on the street from a dig, ive raced V and my buddy simon in a 03 SSS and its just a bitch to real em in and thats with V on motor, single stage on the street he would wax me, so you'll have your hands full.
David is lowered a lot and doesn't have the slicks mounted. In an apples to apples (as they sit) comparison the 2WD in this case stands no chance at the track or on the street. Can Dave take the guy? I think so. He's gonna need to spool it with slicks from a stop on the street (if we're talking from a dig) or from a roll on the street to come out on top. With his suspension, he's probably lost on a dig run at the track or on the street unless he slicks it on the street with a boost leave.
