Any of you guys still in HS and ahve any friends that might want it?:)
i know someone who wants it but can't afford it.. :spit: so that was no help from me
Like I said 200 to whoever finds someone to buy it from me, so beat the bushes.
...WHAP...WHAP...WHAP...
(that is me beating the bushes...)
Ok, that was dumb...sorry. :)
ANYWAY--I think $9k is a fair asking price. Start out high with the knowledge you will be talked down. I would tell the potential serious buyer about the newer drivetrain components, but do not divluge ALL the info. Just say they needed to be replaced from the mileage. It is believable for a vehicle that has 180,000 on the chassis...
I plead the Fifth!
I would start out at asking 10K. When I traded my 99 Z71 in on the SS a little over a year ago, it had 145xxx miles on it with a 3 inch body lift 33" tires and a 4.8L motor. They gave me 7,600 trade in on it. Then I looked at there website and they ad it priced at liek 11,500. Its a nice looking truck and everyone like Z71s.
Once I get it up and running good and make sure there are no problems with it then get it cleaned up Ill throw it on a couple autotrader sites if the guy that is interested in it doesnt want it.
I would ask about $9500 and try and get $9000. I just traded in my 2000 Silverado LS 2WD w/ 75k on it and I got $7000. I would figure if you sold yours to a private party (and it being 4WD) you would get at least 9K for it.
