guys im with yall!! i agree racing is what needs to happen!! mitchs truck was in this before i came in. i just made a simple observation and yall went ape shit. most everything said in here proves what im saying. yeah as i posted just a second ago obviously his truck wont win anything in a stock susp race... just imagine how the full on built trucks would look running the same time way up in classes. i love racing because you push everything to the limits to squeeze every once of power out of what you have. patience?? the time spent on this truck to make a 5.3 work is very little... the time spent on the truck as an excuse to not go home is much more! also please read this!! im not making a bit of excuses about why his truck isnt the fastest. i would absolutely LOVE to see several single digit trucks with backseats! that would be awesome!! no mitchs truck is not stock by any means but it does fall into the category of stock suspension and stock block... as a mtter of fact there is a race just for that coming up locally that he can be in!! sorry all you others in this conversation yall cant be part... but hey its all the same right??

Wait I'm confused, Mitch broke a belt and went slower? Seems kinda odd less drag on the motor = more power. Unless he let out... Fuel pumps are driven directly off the alternator Luke. I guess I should have clarified because there was no way for anyone to know. I'm just making general observations for everyone. I'm not fast.

I was there early enough to see it. It was unexpected but at least u ran yours we were scared to get outrun by everyone but after seeing a bunch of runs we regret not getting out there and having some fun.

oh yeah and his fastest trap of the day was 132

your timing is based off voltage, your fuel is based off voltage as well. once those two drop then things go rich or lean along with less timing. vehicles of old could run beltless these need full voltage the entire run
