Hey guys my sister is out of state and she has a 02 trailblazer that the right rear window is stuck down. She has it at a local shop and the manager says it needs a master switch assm. in the drivers door(easy enough to understand) heres the rub..... says has has to take it to the dealer to get programed for an addiotional 100.00 bucks..... I smell a rat.. anyone know anything about this????? thanks Doug
Does it make any noise at all like it's trying to go up? If it is, I definately call boolshit! My brother had trouble on a driver's side window. When the stealership replaced the regulator it worked fine but the passenger's side stopped working. They told him they'd have to replace a bunch of crap and it started working fine when he got home. Must have just had a loose connection when they hooked up the window panel switch again.
I don't think that it's a reg from what she's telling me I just don't get the programed B.S. for a simple combo switch...
My buddy had that prob but that was cause he had that alarm that rolled down the windows. it cut the power of so it wouldnt let it role up. i think is bs too. :bs: Does she have someone to check it out, like that can jump wires to make sure that its just the switch?
